MARTHA COKER GREEN HOUSE HOMES DEDICATES NEW PAVILION

In 2008, when the Green Houses® were completed in Yazoo City, there was a very large lot between the Love House and the Luse House. This area was central to all of the Green Houses® and it just seemed like the perfect area for a gathering place for all of the elders, their families and staff. Over the years it has been a dream to build a pavilion on that lot. Having a covered pavilion with lights, ceiling fans and electricity, and built-in seating would be such a great place to gather. The cost of this pavilion was a deterrent to it being built until the Mary Brickell Circle of the King's Daughters and Sons agreed to pay for the cost of the pavilion. Construction took place in late 2017 and we are proud to say that our new pavilion was dedicated on December 15, 2017. We are so grateful for the Mary Brickell Circle's monetary support. We can hardly wait until the weather warms up so we can start to using it daily.  This is a great addition to our campus and will enrich the lives of our elders and their families.
