Healthcare neighborhoods at Methodist Senior Services are a nurturing environment where Elders can uphold their quality of life, make personal choices and receive continuous, comprehensive care. We provide long-term care, skilled nursing services and a short-term rehabilitation program called Bridge to Home, all supported by 24-hour assistance and a comprehensive array of personal, dining, therapeutic, social and spiritual services.
All Methodist Senior Services campuses practice philosophies introduced by The Eden Alternative® where the focus shifts from the institutional or facility model to a culture where Elders lead their lives like home. Known as person-directed care, we emphasize caring for the human spirit alongside physical needs.
Healthcare services including long-term care, skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation are offered in four Mississippi communities. Campuses in Tupelo, Columbus and West Point each offer person-directed care in a traditional nursing home setting. Additionally, small home settings called Green House® Homes also offer healthcare services in Tupelo and Yazoo City. Tupelo is renowned as the site of the world’s first Green House® program, while Martha Coker Green House® Homes in Yazoo City hold the distinction as the nation’s first stand-alone Green House® campus.
