Tulip Lane, a Neighborhood within Wesley Manor Retirement Community hosted a Block Party and performed “The Little Red School House”. This was hilarious production of a first grade classroom. The class consisted of all those students we remember back in our own school days. There was the typical teachers pet, the bad girl, the genius, the flirt, the class clown, and the bad boys.
During this production the “bad boys” got into a fight before school and threw a snake at the English teacher. The “Bad Girl” picked on the “Teachers Pet”. The “Class Clown” told jokes instead of doing his class work.
When it was time for Music Class they all pulled out their instruments and “The Kitchen Band” preformed for the audience.
After class was dismissed we all enjoyed brown bag lunches consisting of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, an apple, cookies and milk.
