7/1/2009 - UPDATE: The dedication ceremony for “Crown of Splendor” was held on August 25, 2009. The four artists unveiled this beautiful horse to the delight of residents and guests. “Crown of Splendor” will be permanently placed by the Aldersgate sign on Poplar Springs Drive. The horse will be part of Meridian’s “Around Town Carousels Abound” collection. To date, more than 60 horses have been placed as part of this collection.
