Housing Options

Apartment Living

Apartment Living is perfect for those with active lifestyles! Opportunities abound with ways to make new friendships and participate in exciting activities! You are no longer bothered with many common household responsibilities, and you can decorate and furnish your new home anyway you would like. All this comes with security in a close and caring community.

Cottage Living

Our beautiful cottages are offered through a life use contract. Enjoy retirement without having to worry about routine maintenance or extraordinary repair costs. Experience independence and the not-for-profit difference in a Christian community of senior adults!

Unlike traditional home ownership, a life use fee allows the resident to live in the cottage at a reduced rate and gives residents priority placment if they later need a higher level of care here or at any other Methodist Senior Services campus.

Personal Care

The Personal Care apartments offer a wonderful alternative for maintaining independence and privacy in a warm and enjoyable atmosphere, while receiving the daily assistance you or a loved one may need. As healthcare needs begin to change, it is comforting to know that this level of care offers, on a daily basis, three meals a day, medication monitoring, daily housekeeping and assistance with grooming. Relieved from the added concerns of daily living, you can increase your leisure activities and pleasure. Your dignity and happiness are our primary concerns.

Local Information

Clarksdale, located in the heart of the Mississippi Delta, is home to the most fertile land outside of the Nile, where everything grows well, including friendships. Clarksdale is located only 75 miles south of Memphis, TN, the distribution center of the United States. It is just close enough to afford the big-city life, but far enough away to retain a small-town atmosphere and quieter way of life.

Clarksdale is a crossroads of culture, steeped in heritage, from the oft-performed Delta blues to Civil War and Native American history to the mystique of the mighty Mississippi. Many famed blues musicians found their calling in the delta of this region and sang its melody in their wailing tunes. From abundant recreational activities to a thriving musical culture, Clarksdale offers plenty of fun and entertaining attractions. Hunting, fishing, boating, golfing, league sports, and other outdoor opportunities abound. The area’s temperate climate provides the perfect atmosphere to enjoy them all. With such a wide variety of options, visitors will find there is something fun and exciting for everyone.

Historians have written about it, musicians have sung about it, and visitors have kept it at heart. Once you visit, you just might find yourself at home. In Clarksdale, you never meet a stranger and you never want for friends or good conversation. Clarksdale — a close-knit community working toward economic progress, but striving to retain its small town appeal and hometown feel. This winning combination helps make Clarksdale an ideal place to live, work, and raise a family.
