About Us
Message from the Director
Hello and welcome to The Henry Clay,
I am so pleased that you are interested in our “Family of Friends”. The Henry Clay is a renovated historical landmark located in the heart of downtown West Point, MS. We have a great history and many of the community have cherished memories of special events that took place in our beautiful facility.
The residents all have private one or two bedroom apartments that affords them security and comfort at an affordable price. The rose garden, park, and walkway are just across the street and they provide a beautifully fragrant attraction when the roses and wisteria are in season. The public comes into our building each day to dine at The Point Café and many civic clubs meet here which gives our residents a chance to visit and be as socially interactive as they choose.
I enjoy serving the elders at The Henry Clay. The Elders decided several years back that they wanted their motto to be….The Henry Clay…A Family of Friends and we are just that. I truly feel it an honor to serve each of the elders and to be a part of an organization that is dedicated to serving older adults in the spirit of Christian love.
Come join our “Family of Friends”!
Sincerely,
Dee Mathis,
Executive Director
