It all started with a trip to the movies to see "Poms," about a group of ladies in a retirement community who start their own club of cheerleaders. This movie was so inspiring it convinced several ladies at Wesley Meadows to start their own cheer team! The Dream Team practices weekly and has upcoming community performances at the local Senior Day and future plans to partner with the Hernando High School Cheerleaders. Members are: Elowese Marlin, Kathy Church, Billie Mills, Mable Foster, Ella Lemons, Betsy Perry, Phyliss Combs, Ann McCord, Connie Davis, Clara Futrell and Pep Squad Members Alta Stewart and Carolyn Dupreee.
