TWO MSS SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITIE RECEIVE RECOGNITION FOR EXEMPLARY EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT SCORES FROM HOLLERAN

Holleran has recognized senior living communities for distinguished scores in employee and resident engagement studies conducted in 2017. Among those recognized for excellence in Employee Engagement were two Methodist Senior Services campuses: Aldersgate Retirement Community and Martha Coker Green House Homes.

Holleran's national benchmark of Life Plan Community employee and resident engagement scores is the largest in the nation. It awards the annual "Highest Honors" recognition to those communities who attain high mean scores, overall satisfaction significantly above the Holleran Benchmark, and the organization's staff or residents must be categorized as highly engaged.

Holleran is the premier provider of employee and resident engagement and satisfaction research and benchmarks, serving more than 750 not-for-profit senior living provider organizations nationally. Holleran conducted Employee Engagement Surveys at each campus. Holleran analyzed MSS' results and compared them to the Holleran National Benchmarks for other senior living communities.

Engagement quantifies how passionate and committed employees are to our mission, activity and organization. The return on investment for Employee Engagement includes such benefits as higher productivity, turnover reduction and decreased absenteeism.

The Employee Engagement index consists of 15 factors that when analyzed, identify employees on a spectrum of engagement levels. The larger the number of people falling into the highly engaged categories, the more likely your organization will flourish.

Catalyst and Advocates: Highly engaged and committed to organizational success

Endorsers and Contributors: Employees who show up and do their job satisfactorily.

Resistors: Employees who are the most disengaged and possibly toxic individuals who threaten the culture and progress of the organization.
