It’s about hard work and dedication...

Henry (Hank) Veihmann, Jr., a resident at Seashore Highlands, knows all about hard work and dedication. Hank served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, in which he was deployed to Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. But Hank didn't just serve, he served well!He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster (OLC), the Air Medal with 3 OLC, the Air Force Commendation Medal with 2 OLC, the Vietnamese Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 3 OLC and the Combat Readiness Medal.

Hank was excited to attend the Salute to Veterans at Camp Shelby hosted by Wesley Manor. Many volunteers at the event, including members of the Pearl River Community College baseball team, were drawn to Mr. Hank's war stories. There's no better way to learn than at the feet of men like Hank Veihmann, Jr.
