CHONDA PIERCE EVENTS HELD TO BENEFIT CAMPUS CAMPAIGNS

Thank you to all who joined us October 19th at the Landers Center in Southaven and October 20th at the Forrest County Multipurpose Center in Hattiesburg for the Chonda Pierce events.

The Recording Industry Association of America® (RIAA) has noted Chonda Pierce as the Top-Selling Female Comedian in History! Chonda is also referred to as the "number one Christian Comedian" and "America's number one Country Comedian."

On October 19th, Wesley Meadows reached 1,776 people and shared their Green House Home® Campaign story, in hopes of raising awareness and funds. Chonda Pierce shared her personal testimony of being a nurse aid when she was in high school and college caring for persons living with dementia while her mother was a nurse. She personally shared the importance of meeting our campaign needs. Karen Williams, singer and comedian, sang a song about serving those we love as they grow old. Michelle Daniel, Vice-President of Philanthropy, was able to share the Wesley Meadows Campaign video to the crowd and make a plea for support.

On October 20th, Wesley Manor reached nearly 1,200 people and shared their Bus Campaign journey as well as sharing services provided in Hattiesburg. Mary Kim Smith, the new Executive Director for Wesley Manor, was introduced to the crowd and explained the services of Wesley Manor. Michelle Daniel was able to share the need of the bus and make a plea for support.

Elders of Wesley Meadows were able to enjoy the show from a skybox that was generously donated and said they had a great time! Elders of Wesley Manor were seated near the front row for the show in Hattiesburg, and said they had a blast!

Much laughter could be heard at these events and we are thankful for this wonderful time of fun and fellowship. Every member of the crowd was given information and materials marketing the local campuses.

A special thank you goes out to the sponsors, local board members and team members who assisted in making these events successful.
If you were not able to attend either event but would like to make a contribution, you can give at the local campus, at the MSS Home Office or online at www.mss.org.
